When it comes to an academic institution library, it is said that “Libraries are known as the heart of the institutions” which signifies the inevitable presence of a library in all the institutions. Library plays a vital role as an indispensable tool of learning process. Library and Information Centre of the Smt. Dankunwar Mahila Mahavidyalaya is plays vital role in the academic as well as personal growth of the Female students of the college.
Smt. Dankunwar Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jalna was established in the year 1985. From the same year all the students have been given open access to books so that they can refer, read and then issue the books from more than 20,000+ books for home lending. Students can also issue separate books & magazines for reading in the reading hall as a Reference Service.
Library and Information Centre of the Smt. Dankunwar Mahila Mahavidyalaya is constantly evolving as the user needs are constantly changing. Library and information centre is constantly upgrading its collection both offline and online and trying to provide best services to its users in library and remotely.
