Reading Club
The College reading clubs align perfectly with NEP-2020's vision of holistic education. They foster critical thinking, communication skills, and a love for learning, all key goals of the policy. By encouraging reading beyond textbooks, clubs broaden students' perspectives and deepen their understanding of diverse subjects. This multidisciplinary approach is crucial for developing well-rounded individuals, as envisioned by NEP-2020. Moreover, reading clubs can promote peer learning and collaboration, further enhancing the educational experience.
A Reading Club promotes a love for reading and encourages the exploration of various genres, authors, and literary forms. The reading club is place at which students also read and share their experiences while making reading habits with others. In regular meetings of the club, members discuss selected books read and written articles or even other written materials and thus create the surrounding for intellectual exchange and creativity. through discussions, students are able to analyze texts but reflect more on themes or learn new perspectives on different topics. The club will have an ongoing important event like author talks and book swapping among other special events such as book fairs.
