Degree Ceremony
A degree award ceremony was organized for students graduating from the Commerce and Arts streams of Smt. Dankunwar Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jalna. On this occasion, the president of the institution, Shri. Mahendrakumarji Gupta, chaired the session. Special presence of, the institution's Secretary Shri. Mukeshji Agrawal, Treasurer Shri. Sanjayji Agrawal, Administrative Officer and Vice Principal Dr. Diya Patwari, and Principal Dr. S. D. Talekar were present. Dr. Prashant Amrutkar Registrar Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Chha. Sambhajinagar chief guest of ceremony emphasized that education is an excellent medium for developing skills and abilities also stated that education plays a key role in job creation; however, its true essence lies in its ability to foster skills and capacity development.
An introduction to the chief guest was given by Administrative Officer Dr. Vidya Patwari. Following this, the principal of the college, Dr. S. D. Talekar, in his opening remarks, informed the students about various new courses and programs launched at the college. The importance of the educational platform is significant. It is open to everyone. If used correctly, one can showcase their skills to the world. It is essential to leave a mark in any field, and most importantly, skill development courses are now readily available to facilitate this. These courses teach lessons on earning through education. Due to their consistent efforts, the girls in the college are progressing ahead. However, it is essential for them to step forward, as emphasized by Registrar Dr. Prashant Amrutkar.
During this degree-awarding ceremony, degrees were conferred upon 4 students from B.A., 32 students from B. Com, and 11 students from M.Com. Secretary Mukesh Agrawal, appreciated that all skills are being made accessible to the girls of Jalna under one roof. The ceremony's program was anchored by Dr. Vasudeo Ugale, Head of the Marathi Department. A vote of thanks was delivered by Asst. Prof. Pooja Arora, Head of the English Department. The degree-awarding ceremony was attended by Dr. Jitendra Ahirrao, Dr. Vijay Nagori, Dr. Swati Mahajan, Dr. Keshav Solanke, Prof. Pravin Ghuge, Prof. Parvati Deshmukh, along with all teaching and non-teaching staff, and a large number of students.
