About College
Smt. Dankunwar Mahila Mahavidyalaya, located in Jalna, a thriving business hub, has been a beacon of women's education for 38 years. Established in 1985 with a focus on Commerce, the college expanded its offerings to include Arts in 1989, followed by M.Com. and a dedicated Research Center in Commerce in 2006. This growth reflects the college's commitment to evolving with the needs of its students and the community. Recognizing the changing landscape of higher education, the college has embraced new initiatives, including Career-Katta, Online career guidance, and skill-based programs, aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP). The college's dedication to quality education and women's empowerment is evident in its "B+" grade from its third cycle of NAAC accreditation.
Looking ahead, the college will introduce science programs in 2025, further diversifying its academic offerings. This expansion demonstrates the college's proactive approach to preparing women for successful careers and leadership roles in various sectors, contributing to the cultural, social, and economic progress of the nation.
