Teaching Learning Resources

Our college provides diverse learning resources to enhance the teaching-learning experience. These include ICT-enabled classrooms, tutorial rooms, a well-equipped library and reading room, specialized Home Science and computer labs, a language lab, and a dedicated research Centre, fostering academic excellence and skill development.
White Board Classrooms
Our institute has 12 classrooms. The 7 classrooms sizes are 28x22 feet. Classrooms 8 and 9 are 24x28 feet, and classrooms 10, 11, and 12 are 30x22 feet.
ICT Enabled Classrooms
4 ICT-enabled classrooms are provided for effective teaching as per the need of teachers and Portable LCD Projector available in college.
Tutorial Room
Our college provides 1 tutorial room, offering a conducive environment for students to receive personalized guidance and support from instructors.
Library
The college library is a hub of knowledge and resources, offering a vast collection of books, journals, and digital materials. It provides a conducive environment for studying, research, and collaboration. The library also organizes workshops, seminars, and guest lectures to enrich the learning experience.
Reading Room
The Reading Room is a dedicated space designed to foster focused study and academic exploration. It provides a quiet and comfortable environment with ample seating, natural lighting, and a wealth of resources.
Home Science Lab
Equipped with tools and resources for students to learn about various aspects of home science:
- Nutrition and Dietetics laboratory with concealed gas pipeline, 10 gas stoves, and essential equipment allowing 18 students to work simultaneously.
- Textiles and Clothing lab with 10 sewing machines and a cutting table.
Computer Lab
College computer labs are essential hubs for digital learning, providing students with access to necessary hardware and software. They support coursework, research, and skill development in a tech-driven world. These labs bridge the digital divide, ensuring all students have equal opportunities to succeed in their academic pursuits. The Lab size is 30*22 feet. Laboratory has well equipped 14 computers and printer and Smart board.
Language Lab
A language lab is crucial for honing communication skills. It provides a dedicated space with specialized software and resources (10 Computers, Printer, Library, Headphones, etc.) for students to practice pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary. This enhances their language proficiency, boosting confidence and employability in an increasingly globalized world. the lab size is 28*12 feet.
Research Centre
The research centre is enabled with 14 computers, a printer, and a smart board. The size of the computer lab is 30x22 feet. Many theses are available for research students to refer.
Research centre in Commerce has completed 18 years. Till date, 38 Ph.D. and 3 M.Phil. students of our Research Centre have been awarded Research Degrees by the affiliated University. Currently, 15 students are registered for Ph.D. under the guidance of 6 Research Guides at the Centre. Two PhD awarded to the research student in 2024-25 and one student Register for PhD.
