Our institution was established in 1958 for women empowerment and is the visionary vision of our founder President Hon'ble Kundanlalji Agarwal. This institution is a "Hindi speaking minority institution". He has established Smt. Dankunwar Hindi Kanya Vidyalaya Samiti to propagate the national language. This shows that our patrons have a sense of patriotism. All the successor patrons including the present Management Council have followed this spirit for institutional growth and to have a sincere feeling towards democracy.
Our aim is to broaden the mind, inculcate values and build character which are essential for the cultural, social and economic development of the nation. Looking at the situation, our institutions have embraced the changes and we are trying to improve their rules and regulations by coordinating with the government policies required to bring these women into the mainstream of development to achieve the goal of women empowerment.

This Happiness Centre at Shrimati Dankunwar Mahila Mahavidyalaya symbolises the college's commitment to enhancing and promoting mental and emotional well-being among students. Counselling Unit
The Shrimati Dankunwar Mahila Mahavidyalaya Counselling Unit is dedicated to enhancing emotional well-being, resilience and mental awareness among students. The Vision of the College is to educate, enable and empower young women. Our institute was formed in 1958 specially to empower women and it is visionary outlook of our founder president Hon. Kundanlalji Agrawal. The institute is "Hindi Linguistic Minority Institute". They have formed Smt. Dankunwar Hindi Kanya Vidyalaya Samiti to spread over national language.
At present institute is having 61 University Merit Rank holders. Out of which 53 students from Commerce programme and 8 from Arts programme, College is known as "Brand of Women Education".
