  • Sociology is the identity of Human from Birth till Death.
  • The enlightenment of knowledge in the dark world of women in Jalna district was brought by Late Kundanlalji Agrawal by starting Woman’s Education Institute, Smt. Hindi Kanya Vidhyalaya Samiti in 1958.
  • This institute provides education from KG to PG, promoting the importance of women's education.
  • The Department of Sociology was established in 1989, with about 60-70% of students enrolling in sociology.
  • Sociology studies the role of institutions in the development of individuals and helps us understand societies, cultures, traditions, and occupations.
  • Sociology is the mother of social sciences. It nurtures society and teaches social, cultural, moral, economic, and behavioral ethics.
