About Home Science
Home Science is now renamed as Community Science. It is multidisciplinary subject. i.e., Food and Nutrition, Family Resource Management, Human Development, Clothing & Textile and Extension education are five streams learnt by the students. It facilitates students to learn courses linked to development of community and home science.
The department of Home Science was started in 15thjune 1989. This Department is Granted Aided of college i.e., Smt. Dankunwar Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jalna. Offers UG course in B.A. programme as an optional subject. The department has well equipped laboratories for all fields of Home Science.
